This color blue. At Jardin Majorelle. Since 1980, the garden has been owned by Yves Saint-Lauren and Pierre Bergé. After Yves Saint Laurent died in 2008, his ashes were scattered here.
Jardin Majorelle. A 12 acre botanical garden and artist’s landscape here in Marrakech. It was designed by the French expatriate Jacques Majorelle in the 1920s and 1930s, during the colonial period when Morocco was a protectorate of France. It’s an overpowering abundance of vegetal shapes + forms representing 5 continents. So, so beautiful.
La Pause is a bohemian desert oasis about an hour outside of Marrakech. No electricity, only panoramic views of the desert and the High Atlas Mountains and elegantly appointed open-air guestrooms that ooze authentic Moroccan charm. It is truly a magical place. Ladies lunching, La Pause style.
