Too cool for school, these two. Love.

In honor of fall wedding season (I’ve already been to two this month), behold Kate Moss as The Burberry Bride, by Mario Testino, year 2000. Burberry at their very best, as far as I’m concerned…

I spy Liberty Ross, above, too. Most of America only discovered her this summer as the disgraced wife in Kristen Stewart’s cheating scandal, but she’s been modeling for blue chip brands for years.

This is how you combine style, story, heritage and aspiration all at once. This is fashion.

More collages. This is ‘Dusk #2’ by Daniel Lumbini. I can still see you Kate Moss…

And this is Ben Giles. He creates vintage style collages marked by whimsy and humor, available on Etsy & Society6.

Summer inspiration: Kate Moss in Chloé, Spring/Summer 2001. Love the hair and the color palette. Worshiped that whole collection by Stella McCartney.

No, Kate Moss in a glossy is nothing new. But hats off to W Magazine and stylist Edward Enninful for a cover and fashion spread that is. Captivating.
Looove Kate Moss’s (vintage??) flowing frock, in beautiful shades of blue. So nice to see her in color! Pictured here with tomorrow’s hubs-to-be, The Kills’ Jamie Hince. Mazel!!
Kate Moss in the winter edition of i-D. Still nailing it after all these years.

This weekend’s perfect fall weather had me all over NYC – from the Farmer’s Market in Union Square to Bushwick, BK. I’ve had some Aussie friends in town the past few weeks, and it’s been a delight to stroll the streets with them leisurely. So why the hell was I missing Paris so badly?? I have no idea. I’ve only been there during summer, but I envision the City of Light at its prime in fall. I see myself at Café de Flore, tucked into a corner, sipping coffee. I see myself in all black. I see this campaign!! Longchamp, Fall 2008. Sure, it’s kinda obvious: Kate Moss, French heart throb Gaspard Ulliel, the Café de Flore, cinematic black and white. But I love it.

Revisiting these ads – and a trip to Celi-Cela for some macarons – were the next best thing to Paris…for now.
More shots from Longchamp, shot by Mert + Marcus, after the jump.
